On behalf of His Excellency President Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone and as Sierra Leone's first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Turkey, I am delighted and honored to welcome you to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in the Republic of Turkey.

The opening of the Sierra Leone Embassy in Ankara is a historic achievement and a manifestation to foster a closer and productive bilateral relationship between the Governments and peoples of the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Republic of Turkey. The two countries share a deep desire for mutual cooperation for the benefit of both nations and peoples.

Our Mission will be keen to facilitate collaboration between Turkey and Sierra Leone to create opportunities for investments in all sectors of our economies, skills and technology transfer, and meaningful cultural exchanges.
