Legal Advisor & Ankara Regional Manager Of İş Bankası Pays Courtesy Call On Sierra Leone’s Ambassador Designate Francess Virginia Anderson

 

 Chancery Building, Tuesday 7 November 2024, The Legal Advisor and Ankara Regional Manager of İş Bankası, Mr. Ferhat Aznevi, has paid a courtesy call on Sierra Leone’s Ambassador designate to Türkiye, Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD.

 

Mr. Aznevi thanked the leadership of the Embassy for what he called a warm receiption, expressed a keen interest in fostering economic collaboration and identified various areas for potential investment and engagement between the bank and the Embassy.

 

He assured Ambassador Anderson of his continued support and assistance for any initiatives she may pursue in Türkiye.

 

In a brief statement, Ambassador Dr. Francess Virginia Anderson thanked Mr. Aznevi for his visit and intrest in Sierra Leone, while expressing appreciation for the bank’s openness to collaboration. She highlighted the Embassy’s ongoing commitment to building strong, mutually beneficial relationships between Sierra Leone and Türkiye.

 

Ambassador Anderson further shared several trade and economic initiatives she planned to spearhead, emphasizing the critical importance of cooperation across sectors in Türkiye.

Dr. Anderson concluded the meeting by reaffirming her commitment to future engagements in trade and investment, and acknowledged the numerous Turkish experts and investors interested in forging ties with Sierra Leone.
