Zeytini Gida Insaat Turizm Ithalat Ihracat Ltd Pays A Courtesy Call On Sierra Leone Ambassador Francess Virginia Anderson, Expresses Interest To Invest In Country
Chancery Building, Ankara, Türkiye, Thursday 13th June 2025 –* As a follow-up call from the recently concluded Investment and Trade Seminar in Istanbul, Zeytini Gida Insaat Turizm Ithalat Ihracat Ltd, has paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ambassador Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD, and has expressed interest in being a part Sierra Leone’s development drive.
Zeytini Gıda İnşaat Turizm İthalat İhracat Ltd, is a Turkish investment company based in Ankara, they are experts in Import & Export, Olive and Food Products like the production, sale or distribution of olives, olive oil and other food products; Construction projects, real estate development, contracting services, and Hotel management, and travel.
Head of delegation of the group, Mr. iBRAHIM OZTURK said their visit was inspired by the Investment and Trade Seminar held in Istanbul in May, and expressed a desire to explore investment and business opportunities in Sierra Leone.
“Our primary visit is to explore opportunities in Sierra Leone, especially in the area of miming. We want to partner with this embassy and to be given the assurance that our investment will be protected”, he noted.
On her path, Her Excellency Ambassador Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD, welcomed the visiting delegation, while expressing the country's excitement and preparedness to receive genuine investors.
Ambassador Anderson further told the delegation that as a part of President Julius Maada Bio’ transformative and progressive policies, the country looked forward to having investors in key priority sectors like: Agriculture, Human Capital Development, Investment in Architecture, Youth Empowerment Schemes, and Technology.
“You are welcome, I look forward to seeing you in Sierra Leone”, Ambassador Anderson noted.
It could be recalled that on May 30, 2025, in Istanbul, Sierra Leone Embassy in Ankara, Türkiye, held the first one of its kind Investment and Trade Seminar, since the embassy was established in 2020. The Seminar, which aimed at showcasing Sierra Leone as an attractive investment destination, brought together Turkish investors and influential businessmen.
