Vice Chairperson of Türkiye – Sierra Leone Business Council Pays Courtesy Call On Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, Expresses Interest to Invest In Sierra Leone

 

 

 

 

 

Ankara, Türkiye, Monday 15 August 2022 - The newly appointed Vice Chairperson of the Türkiye – Sierra Leone Business Council, Mr. Abdülkadir Yüksel has paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, and has expressed interest in exploring more investment opportunities in Sierra Leone.

Mr. Abdülkadir Yüksel noted that the purpose of the visit was to have an audience with Ambassador Kaisamba, and to further explore more business and trade opportunities in Sierra Leone, saying that he was taking over the Council with a wealth of experience; having worked as an agricultural engineer in Türkiye and Italy, worked at many investment boards of mining and construction companies.

“I am very happy to be here, and I look forward to working with the Sierra Leone embassy in Türkiye to facilitate more investment opportunities in Sierra Leone”, he concluded.

In a brief response, His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba congratulated and thanked the Vice Chairperson on his appointment, saying that Sierra Leone and Türkiye are reliable friends and partners, with a good working relationship. Ambassador Kaisamba further noted that the leadership of Sierra Leone and Türkiye were in working relation, with the aim of utilizing the full potential of the investment opportunities between the two countries.

“Sierra Leone is a virgin ground for investment, whiles the government creates the enabling environment for investment, we are also looking for credible partners for a win-win situation. Thank you for your visit, we shall continue more engagements on how we can get started”, Ambassador Kaisamba concluded.
