Sierra Leone’s Ambassador To Türkiye Mohamed Hassan Kai-Samba Admonishes Best Diplomats, Encourages Them To Innovatively Navigate An Ever-Evolving Diplomatic Terrain

 Windsor Hotel and Convention Centre, Istanbul, Türkiye, Friday 24th February 2023 – Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Mohamed Hassan Kai-Samba has admonished Best Diplomats Conference, has urged participants to innovatively navigate an ever-evolving diplomatic terrain that would see the world a better place.

Best Diplomats is a New York based International Organization which focuses on training & crafting Future Diplomats through Diplomatic Simulations. It serves as a platform for Young Leaders and Change makers to exchange ideas and resolve the most challenging global issues. These Diplomatic Simulations are an ideal avenue for aspiring Future Diplomats to grasp and grip the lobbying and critical thinking skill set that will enable them to become a better diplomat.
The theme of 2023 Best Diplomat Conference was “Diplomacy Beyond Barriers”

While delivering his keynote address at the Conference, Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kai-Samba commended the organizers for what he described as a brilliant initiative that would produce well refined and much needed qualified diplomats, saying that an intricate skills required to become a successful diplomat, particularly in the field of negotiation.

He therefore encouraged participants to be innovative and active to effectively navigate an ever-evolving diplomatic terrain, while citing the quick response of the international community to addressing the earthquake crisis in Türkiye. He expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of H.E. President Julius Maada Bio and the government and people of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the government and people of Türkiye for the devastation wrecked by the earthquakes that struck the southern region of Türkiye on February 6, 2023.

Ambassador Kaisamba informed the conference participants that as a father and diplomat, he was passionate about youth empowerment, adding that he was dedicated to the furtherance of H.E President Julius Maada Bio’s agenda on youth empowerment on a global scale.

“I wish these young aspiring diplomats a successful deliberation and conference. Diplomacy remains relevant for global peace, international cooperation, and development”, he concluded.
