Diplomatic relations between Sierra Leone and Kenya are robust and multifaceted, characterized by cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, and social spheres. Both nations maintain resident diplomatic missions, with Sierra Leone operating a High Commission in Nairobi and Kenya accrediting its High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria, to Sierra Leone.
Recent developments highlight a strengthening of these ties.

In May 2022, Kenya and Sierra Leone signed seven cooperation agreements, including the establishment of a Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC) and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on political and diplomatic consultations, trade and investment, wildlife tourism, gender equality and women empowerment, agriculture, and arts and youth affairs.

These agreements were a result of a bilateral meeting between then-President Uhuru Kenyatta and President Julius Maada Bio.
