Outgoing Defense Attaché Hands Over to Incoming Attaché, Bids Farewell After Tour of Duty

Chancery Building, Ankara, Monday, 22 January 2024 - The Republic of Sierra Leone's outgoing Defense Attaché, DA to Türkiye, Colonel (Rtd.) Muhammed Musa Hashim has officially handed over office to the incoming Attaché, Brigadier General Abdulai Berber Jalloh, and has bidden farewell after his tour of duty.

Colonel (Rtd.) MM Hashim expressed satisfaction that during his tenure as DA, Sierra Leone and Türkiye successfully signed and ratified numerous military agreements, securing valuable training and scholarship programmes to enhance the professional capacity of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces.

 “As I welcome you, General Abdulai Berber Jalloh, I am confident that your assignment will thrive and reach new heights, forging a powerful alliance that combines diplomatic tact and military expertise for the nation’s benefit,” he noted.

His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba expressed gratitude to the outgoing DA for his dedication to rebranding the country's image in Türkiye. He congratulated the incoming DA on assuming his duties and urged Brigadier General Abdulai Berber Jalloh to build upon his predecessor's achievements, ensuring continuity for the improvement of RSLAF and the country at large.
