New Ghanaian Ambassador Designate To Türkiye Pays Courtesy Call On Ambassador Francess Virginia Anderson
Chancery Building, Ankara, Friday 31 October 2025 –* The new Ambassador of Ghana designate to Türkiye, His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Nasiru-Deen, has paid a courtesy call on Sierra Leone Ambassador to Turkiye, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD.

Courtesy visits between Ambassadors are to establish and maintain diplomatic relations, foster cooperation, and facilitate communication within the diplomatic community.

Sierra Leone and Ghana share a robust and multifaceted relationship, characterized by historical ties, diplomatic cooperation, economic partnerships, and cultural exchanges. Both nations are members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union, fostering regional integration and collaboration on various issues, including peace, security, and economic development.

Ambassador Anderson welcomed the new ambassador, saying that she looked forward to working with him when he would have presented his Letters of Credence.
