H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba on Tuesday 7th December met with the Executive Director of Juninnho Investment Company, where the latter presented his Certificate of Honour conferred on him by the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Center to the Government of Sierra Leone through the former.

From the 25th – 27th November 2021, the 6th Pan African Humanitarian Summit/Award was held in Istanbul to recognize leaders in various industries, governments, businesses, and humanity, where 45 countries within and outside Africa were represented. The Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PALEDEC) is a non-governmental organization committed to driving prosperity in Africa by facilitating long-term relationships and strategic initiatives that will increase various trade and investment opportunities in the continent.

With this year's theme, Stronger Together: Strategic Partnership for a Prosperous Africa, the conference's primary objective is to discuss sustainable business opportunities to promote and facilitate international trade and foreign direct investment in Africa.

Presenting his award to H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, the Global Youth Ambassador, Junisa Precious Gbetteh Sally Kallon, thanked Ambassador Kaisamba and staff at the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Ankara for making time for him. In his presentation, Mr. Kallon informed the meeting that he had had discussions with potential Turkish investors interested in investing in the Energy, Construction, and Agricultural sectors in Sierra Leone. He pleaded with Ambassador Kaisamba and his staff to source investors who could help restore the preponderant influence of Sierra Leone in Africa.

In his response, Ambassador Mohamed H. Kaisamba thanked Mr. Kallon for his inexorable approach to positioning Sierra Leone globally. In connection with getting Turkish investors to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Kaisamba informed the meeting that he and the Embassy staff are sourcing adroit investors who will help augment the country’s drive toward sustainable socio-economic development. Ambassador Kaisamba further made it known that he will create a platform where Sierra Leone’s Trade Envoy to the Republic of Turkey can work with Mr. Kallon in identifying potential Turkish investors.

At the close of the meeting, Ambassador Kaisamba extended his appreciation to Mr. Kallon for his hard work, informing him that he looks forward to furthering his cooperation with him.
